1. Build Quality
If you stay in this industry you want to strive for a reputation as a good quality builder. I teach in my How To Build A Home course that on a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being perfect, you could not build perfect. But I do want you to strive to build an 8 to a 9. If you strive to build an 8 to a 9, you're going to be in the top 5% of the builders in your area. The good news: the only thing you have to do to be in the 8 to 9 category is build your home the way we teach in our programs.
2. One Boss
I want to stress that you can have only one boss on the job site. Man can't serve two masters. So if you have a partner, draw straws and whoever get the longer straw is the designated boss. Any disagreements you have, handle them away from the job, away from the subs. More than one boss creates mass confusion and hysteria on a job site. If you hire a job superintendent never usurp his authority in front of the subs. Let all the subs on the job know who is the boss.
3. Eating An Elephant
For those of you in a state of overwhelm, you've got to learn how to eat an elephant. That's one bite at a time. So use checklist on top of checklist. There is way too much for the average brain to remember. And build this home one bite at a time. Even though I stress to eat this elephant one bite at a ฝากขายคอนโด time, I don't want you to take a bite, chew it up, swallow, and digest it before you go to the next bite. You've got to force feed yourself and just keep cramming those bites in, one bite at a time. But do eat this elephant one bite at a time.
4. A Schedule
You must have a schedule and that schedule is not worth the paper it's printed on unless you work that schedule.
