France is the most visited country in Europe with millions of visitors every year enjoying Paris, Provence, Dordogne, Cote d'Azur, the Alps and Pyrenees - just to mention a few! No wonder France remains a popular destination with foreign property buyers. Traditionally the Brits have been great investors in French Property, but now buyers come from Russia, China and other developing countries of the world.
Which areas of France are popular? 1st for French Property has published a breakdown of visits to their site. France is split into 22 regions and then sub-divided into smaller areas called departments. The two most popular regions are at opposite ends of the country. In the North West of France we have Brittany with breathtaking coasts, sandy beaches and a rugged hinterland. There are quaint old towns to enjoy, and the Brits like its affiliation with the Celtic areas of the UK. In the far south-east corner of France we have Provence with its scorching summers, winter Mistral winds and chic beaches and resorts. The rich and famous flock to the Cote d'Azur resorts in the summer. Inland we find the Luberon area made famous by the books of Peter Mayle.

The Dordogne is very popular with the Brits. In fact, in many villages the Brits outnumber the French - much to their chagrin. The river Dordogne flows through this green and beautiful landscape; you can immediately see its attractions! The west coast of France is popular too! The Atlantic departments of Charente-Maritime, Vendee and Morbihan attract many buyers. Property here is cheaper than the property on the Cote d'Azur.

Dinan is an old town in Brittany - the narrow streets are very quaint with many historic buildings คอนโดมือสอง ราคาถูก dating back centuries, and you are only a short drive to some lovely beaches. Property around lake Annecy is very expensive, but what a beautiful location. Collioure, one of my personal favourites, is a port near the Spanish border. Behind the town lies the Pyrenees; the landscape is just stunning. Many attractive restaurants, and cafés line the port and inside the town walls you can enjoy a stroll around the arts and crafts shops. Cotignac is a delightful location in the Var department of Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur where prices here are cheaper than the coast!
