Buying a Home: The Best Time to Make a Purchase

It is always a wise decision to book yourself for a holiday during off-season days, as the prices are extremely lower. Likewise, one can get more savings buying during discount sales from stores. I wonder is there such a thing as discounts or bargains when buying a home?

Well, I discovered that there are actually two days in a year when it is more practical to buy a home. This I found out from a friend who is now a real estate broker.

Christmas Day is one of the best days to buy a home. I had a good laugh when I heard this. Who would want to buy a home on Christmas Day? No one, of course, as everybody is busy. Hence, if you search for a house on this day, you have more chances of getting the property that you want. You have practically no or less competition. Why is Christmas Day a best time to buy real property? On this day,...

Everybody is in a festive, happy mood celebrating the occasion with their family and loved ones, enjoying a meal, drinks and opening their gifts.

Everybody becomes kind and open-handed. A seller would easily give in to your offer for the spirit of Christmas.

Only a few are in search of a home during the week of Christmas, hence there is minimal competition or even none at all.

Prices of home are lower in the month of December.

If a home is put on sale during the Christmas season, it only signifies that the seller is intent on finding a buyer. It is more likely that you will get the ฝากขายบ้าน property upon writing an offer.

Aside from Christmas Day, Easter Sunday is also a best time to purchase a home. Easter Sunday falls during the spring season where most items and products are out for sale. Although spring is flooded with sales of all sorts including real properties, it is the worst season to buy a home but not on Easter Sunday. Again, most people celebrate this day by getting together. It is also a merry mood for all after observing the days of Lent. After mulling over the passions of Christ and renewing themselves, people are more forgiving, patient and understanding. Writing an offer can easily get a "yes" from a seller. Likewise, only a few buyers go out of their way to look for a home during the Lenten week.

Nevertheless, it is still essential to find a good and qualified real estate broker or agent who is willing to work during these two days. He must also defy the occasions and negotiate with the buyer in spite of the celebrations.
