The first home of fictional wizard Harry Potter has gone on the market for £950,000 and it is the second most photographed doorway in the whole of Great Britain. The 14th Century cottage is actually a listed building in Lavenham, Suffolk and was used to create a fictional village of Godric's Hollow in the Harry Potter film the Deathly Hallows Part One. The house is actually called De Vere House and various shots of the picturesque house created the entire village in the film. It was the birthplace of both Harry and the headmaster of Hogwarts Albus Dumbledore in the film. In the film the house is also featured as it is the final stand of Harry's parents before they are slain by Lord Voldemort and it is the backdrop for where harry receives his characteristic scar.
