Modular homes are basically shipped as two units and put together to make a single structure home. One would question their safety due to seeing many of these homes being shipped on a highway and looking like a double wide trailer. The truth of the matter is there are actually homes out there that have more to them than the ones you see on the highway and can often be safer than homes built on site. Many people do live in high risk areas for natural disasters. These people want to know if their modular house will be safe in the event of a storm or earthquake.
A major difference in these homes are what they have built underneath. Mobile houses and double wides are built on chassis hidden by a metal skirt. Modular homes are built on similar foundations as site built homes and can easily better withstand storm damage.
In a lot of ways, a modular house is actually more sturdy than a site built home. They are both built to local and state building codes, ทาวน์โฮมมือสอง ราคาถูก but modular homes have to be built strong enough to travel. There are extra security measures put in to enable the house for traveling long distances by trucks. Framing is much stronger which makes them more likely to be able to withstand damage from winds.
Another great thing about buying a modular house, is that if anything were to happen to your home during travel, it would be replaced for free. It would be unfortunate that the delay would occur for the home completion, but at least you wouldn't have to worry about the financial responsibilities.
