We all know that the kitchens has become the center of the world, but when designing that new home or remodeling your existing home, we must take in consideration all the traffic pattern that come through it. The last thing we need or want is a big traffic jam in the middle of our home. So here are a few basic tips you should keep in mind before finalizing any new home plan.
1. We must first identify all traffic pattern coming through the kitchen. In today's world, that usually means a rear foyer, the nook or dining area and most likely the great room or some type of gathering area. Once identified, make sure you understand how these 3 or 4 rooms will live with each other. How will you and your family live in those room and how will they interact with each other.
2. With open kitchens, you want to extend the cabinets and counter tops to the perimeter of the room. By doing so you drive the gathering space to the center of the kitchen.
3. Make your island into more than just a severing area. Make them into a preparation area with seating for friends and family.
4. Your island dose not have to be made out of the material or color as the rest of your kitchen. I know of no law that requires you to do so. If done right, you can make your island look ทาวน์โฮมมือสอง กรุงเทพ like a furniture pieces in the middle of your kitchen. So change the cabinet color or wood that it is made out of. Or how about changing the color or material of the counter top.
5. Think about either dropping the ceiling 4" to 6" around the perimeter of your island to add depth and detail to your kitchen. Remember, greatness is in the details.
6. Remember the triangle plan for your kitchen. That is where the position of your sink, stove and refrigerator when connect by dots would form a triangle. It has been proven that a triangle planned kitchen is a better kitchen It doesn't have to form a perfect triangle but it should come close. There relationship to each other is very important.
7. Another thing to remember is when you are standing at a kitchen sink and you are cleaning up the dish's after a meal. You are either coming to rinse the dish and put into a dishwasher or scrap off the plate into the trash than rinse and put into dishwasher. So when you design your kitchen, always have the built in trash to one side of the sink and the dishwasher on the other side.
8. Once you find the location of your dishwasher, make sure that there is an upper cabinet near so when you unload the dishwasher, you are not walking the dishes across the room.
9. Recycling is here to stay. Living Green will be a way of life. So think about a built in recycling center in your kitchen to make it easier to recycle.
Remember, greatness in is the details. Good luck with your new home or remodeling project. I hope these tips will helps you.
