In 1909, the Rosedale Golf Club moved to its present home at the top of Hoggs Hollow, east of Yonge Street. Three years later, Toronto businessmen Nicholas Garland and Robert Dack subdivided the lands south of the club property into residential building lots. By 1926, a Globe newspaper advertisement was touting Teddington Park as a hive of activity... " filling up with residential buildings of a fine class."
