Russell And Paihia Are Great Places To Buy Real Estate In Northland, New Zealand

If you're looking for your own slice of heaven, a special part of New Zealand called the Bay of Islands could be the answer. The Bay of Islands in New Zealand's winterless north is a place of stunning natural beauty, gorgeous beaches and thrilling adventure. It's the sort of place you can make your own; you can leave the madding crowd or be part of it. You can join the business world or be part of the area's creative world. You can go bush or stretch out of the beach.

Two of the top places to buy real estate in the Northland region are Russell and Paihia, just a quick ferry ride from each other across the harbour. Paihia is known as the sparkling gem in the Bay of Islands' crown. Its wonderful unspoilt beaches are safe and sunny and water sports abound. You can even swim with the dolphins! From parasailing to fishing, you can take Paihia at your own pace. It's full of friendly people, cute little cafes and exudes a relaxing lifestyle. As well as being a welcoming seaside town, Paihia has a rich cultural history and is very close to the famous historical New Zealand site at Waitangi. You're also only a short walk or drive from the spectacular Haruru Falls.

Just across the harbour from Paihia you can find the charming and romantic township of Russell which is a favourite place for boaties looking for a calm spot to moor their yachts. It's an elegant and historic town, including the Catholic Mission "Pompallier" and Christ Church which has the bullet holes to prove it's been around since the Maori Wars. It's a town full of museums, eateries and craft galleries as well as fun adventures for the young as well as the young at heart. Both Paihia and Russell are very close to many of Northland's well known attractions including the historic town of Kerikeri, the world famous artistic toilets at Kawakawa and the historic pioneer village at Kaikohe. For scenery, the Bay of Islands and Northland can't be beaten. Living here, you'll be inspired by ancient kauri trees, awesome geographical wonders such as the Hole in the Rock and the spiritual significance of the Far North and Cape Reinga.

With a population of nearly 2,000 Paihia is a place where it's easy to be well known or to keep to yourself. Russell has a smaller population, with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants, making it a place where you'll soon get to know your neighbours. For those with families considering buying real estate in Northland, there are several early childhood centres in Russell and Paihia as well as three primary schools - at Russell, Paihia and Opua. Secondary education is nearby at the Bay of Islands College in Kawakawa.

Paihia and Russell are great places to base yourself if you're looking for a lifestyle change for yourself or the family. ทาวน์โฮมมือสอง กรุงเทพ
