In today's busy world time is at a premium. Potential home buyers balance demanding work schedules besides looking for a property to purchase. In the recent past, the only way to look for property to buy was to find an area realtor's website and look at a two dimensional photo of the property provided the agent or seller was accommodating enough to provide one. Now with the arrival of online ทาวน์เฮ้าส์มือสอง กรุงเทพ mapping tools, anyone at any time can browse properties from the comfort of their home. But not all online mapping tools are created equal. Using the most effective online mapping tool saves time and provides valuable visual information about a property in an instant.
Google Maps
Google Maps is probably the best known and most widely used online mapping tool because of its accessibility. It is found online by going to the Google website and simply clicking on "Maps" at the upper left hand top of the page. Type in the address of the property with the state and city and click on the button "Search Maps". Google maps will then locate the area in a map view. To see a satellite image, click on "Satellite" at the top of the map. The place markers are often inaccurate in Google maps, leaving one to wonder which property is being showed by the marked spot. Also much of the imagery is outdated or just not available when trying to zoom in closely. Searching for a property in any area other than a large metropolitan city will lead to a "sorry but we have no imagery for this zoom level" message.
Yahoo Maps
Yahoo developed their own mapping tool in competition with Google. With the recent purchase of Yahoo by Microsoft, it is hard to say how much longer this online mapping tool will be available. Yahoo Maps are a bit harder to find than Google maps. It is located on the main Yahoo website by going to the link on the lower left hand side of the page titled "Maps". To find a property type in the address, city and state in the top search area. Yahoo will then display a map view. Click on "Satellite" to view photo quality imagery of the area. Click on the plus sign to zoom in on the property. The images on Yahoo Maps are blurry and do not zoom close enough to distinguish any key features of a property or its surroundings.
Google Earth
Google Earth is the same concept as Google Maps except that it is software that must be downloaded to a computer before it can be used. The Google Earth software is a very large file and will take up a considerable amount of a hard drive. It can also cause the computer to run very slowly while the software is in use. Visually, it has the same limitations as Google Maps. The images are more than a few years old. If a property has been updated or renovated on the outside this will not be shown on Google Earth for several years to come. Also as in the case with Google Maps, rural or less populated areas may not have any close up imagery at all.
Bing Maps
Bing Maps is a new addition to online mapping tools. It was created by Microsoft with the real estate industry in mind. Many large realty companies have integrated Bing Maps as the sole online mapping tool for their websites. Bing Maps is easy to find by going to the main Bing website. The link for "Maps" is on the lower left hand side of the page. Type an address, city and state into the search area at the top of the page. Bing Maps will then give the option to see a "birds eye view" of the location. There is also the ability to zoom in very close and receive clear imagery of the location and the surrounding area. The place markers are accurately placed directly in front of the location. Bing Maps provides the best quality images at street level of the property and surrounding area.
Online mapping tools help people in their search for real estate investments. Bing Maps helps prospective buyers to identify which property to buy quickly by providing the clearest and most up to date images available. Although the newest entry into online mapping, Bing Maps satellite imagery stands head and shoulders above the rest. Bing maps is the definitive online mapping tool for browsing real estate on the web.
