You may have noticed in your search for a new home that you don't just "buy" a home anymore. These days, you invest in a community, and become part of an association comprised of other families in your area. You do not see only street signs when you explore houses, but names of residential areas. Some neighborhoods maintain their own parks and gardens, and others benefit from gated security and other amenities. The more exclusive residential communities feature club houses, swim clubs, and even golf courses.
While the idea of living near a golf course may appeal to you - especially if you are an avid golfer - you may wonder if it's a good idea to buy a home in such a community. Some may find there are challenges to house ownership in a golfing neighborhood. Will traffic slow increase during peak times? Are you at risk of damage due to errant golf balls hitting windows? Do you fear getting hit by a speeding golf cart. It is possible not every member of the golf club will live in your community, you can at least expect the course to see a fair amount of use, especially on weekends.
That said, however, there are advantages to living in a golfing community, even if you do not play golf. Just a few reasons you may wish to consider include:
1) Security. Communities that house golf courses and related amenities typically have a security force on staff to ensure the ground and surrounding areas remain safe. You may also find such neighborhoods are gated and/or have security manning the entrances.
2) Amenities. A golf course assuredly has a clubhouse attached. As a homeowner, you may get access to the clubhouse and facilities. This would work in your favor if you need to host a large event, or simply wish to socialize with people in the area.
3) Location. Golf communities are typically located in good locations, close to schools and shopping. You may find living in the neighborhood gives you access to everything you need.
4) Exercise. Communities that center around athletic facilities tend to promote good health. This is a habit that could catch on, inspiring you to get out more an exercise.
Golfing communities may comprise single family homes along a golf course, or a ขายบ้าน combination of single homes, townhomes, and apartments. If you are interested in such a community, take a tour of available properties to see if there is a good fit.
