I own four pieces of real estate as of April 15th 2014. I own 3 condos that I lease and a 3 bedroom home that I live in with my fiancé. Real estate investing is something that I've spent a lot of my time learning about because I know that it will be worth far more in 30 years than it is now. History repeats itself and I plan to use my condos as my retirement plan. I'm currently 31 years old and my future is looking even more promising.
IRA's, 401K's and other retirement plans ทาวน์โฮมมือสอง ราคาถูก have also proven to be a good long-term investment. I would never push someone to buy a home if they didn't want to because I believe people should feel passionate about how they make their money. So, if you're in love with real estate, continue on.
Land is King
Think of land instead of the structure that sits on it. Have you seen the movies Gladiator, Robin Hood or 300, that displayed how life was many years ago? Do you remember the rock walls that divided each person's land? In those years a few acres was a small amount of land. Nowadays, the average lot size is about.50 acres or less, depending on where you live in the USA. However, if you own a.25 acre lot in Boston, MA you could sell it for a pretty penny because an investor could possibly construct a high-rise building on the lot.
Facts
The population is growing exponentially, land is getting scarce in popular areas, and land is getting much more expensive per acre. The labor and materials to build the structure increase over time with inflation and people pay premium prices for oceanfront views, lakefront access, and to live in the center of cities. In fact, if you're looking for the most expensive condo in any major city you could drive straight to the center of the city and look straight up to the highest floor. Therein lies the penthouse suite for a few million dollars.
Retirement
All of the facts mentioned above are only going to multiply over the next 50 years. Buy land now, lease to break even, sell later. Even better; buy now, lease to break even, pay off your mortgage in 30 years, and continue leasing for big profits each month. You're not going to retire tomorrow, let's get that straight. Even if you "retire" you're actually thinking about what you'd rather be doing to make money other than your 8 to 5 job.
As I mentioned, I own my home and lease 3 condos. Each of my condos are 5-10 years into their 30 year mortgage terms, which means, in 20 years, I'll be mortgage free with 3 rent payments coming in. That's what I mean by using real estate as a retirement plan. I'm setting myself up to make money without an 8 to 5 in 20-30 years. Others are using their 401K to end up with a chunk of money that disperses to them in a monthly payment once they are 65 years old. Again, whatever works for you. However, I believe in real estate much more than the stock market because it's tangible, beautiful, and it's literally an American dream.
