Although it can be pretty exciting to start planning for your new home, it is also a bit of a challenge deciding on the details. This is not just like any other purchase like a pair of shoes or a new suit where your decision won't really matter after a few months; you'll hopefully be living in this house for the rest of your life, if you can help it. So, getting the design details right is, first and foremost, what you should be focusing on when building a new home for yourself. It should be a home you can imagine settling into and growing old in.
